The power of story and experience with Jody Maberry
Have you ever thought about why you try out buying from a business and end up becoming a regular customer? Maybe you decided to purchase from them initially because you heard they had fast service or specialized in what you need. Once you were there, not only did the employees have what you need, they also gave you some special inside tips. When you went in a second time, they remembered your name…..now it’s the only place you’ll go for that item. Today’s Table Top Inventing Podcast guest, marketing expert Jody Maberry explains how important story and providing a personal experience are in business today.

Jody, who comes to us from Port Hadlock WA, has had a wide variety of jobs during his career. He will share his journey from becoming a financial analyst, to a park ranger, to a MBA, and how all of those positions have come to help him understand the importance of the customer’s experience. Jody tells us that a business’s story is what helps bring a customer in initially and their experience during that initial visit is what keeps them coming back. Speaking of a good story, I wanted to share with you what a fellow educator had to say about their experience with us at the Model Schools Conference in Atlanta, GA last week:
“Had an amazing week. Saw students who never used 3D printing, Arduino, or 3D designing become experts in it and also use their knowledge to teach teachers about the technology they were using and it’s application in their classrooms. My hat’s off to Table Top Inventing for an amazing Inventors Bootcamp and the amazing way they allow kids to learn by immersion and exploration. I’ve seen students use it before at my school but got to try it first hand myself this week and loved it! If you are a teacher or school administrator on my friend’s list, please check this amazing program out and have them come to your school.” –Christopher Wilkerson, The Children’s School
Confidence… inspiration… trying things you never even knew existed… that’s what Table Top Inventing is all about!
We’d love to have you join us and try something new at one of our upcoming Inventor’s Bootcamps!
