at Southern Adventist University<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 16px\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">TTI had the opportunity to facilitate a faculty seminar <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">on Monday<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"> at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN.\u00a0 We discussed the questions:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&#8220;What is the purpose of an education?&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&#8220;How can we elicit independent exploration in a makerspace situation?&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&#8220;What makes a room with tools into a makerspace?&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 16px\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">We modeled independent exploration as the faculty played with Arduino and 3D printing throughout the course of our discussions &#8211;
